When the team at Disney brought forth their version of this classic story, music played a large part in bringing it to life...
The songs, both narrative and non, allow us to discover the characters - what part they play, how they feel, and their motives. From the opening chants to the dramatic climax, all the latin parts help add to the atmosphere of the story.
With Alan Menken at the helm, the score touches on everything including (but not limited to) joy, pain, humiliation, desire, hope and acceptance.
What are your thoughts? Favourite song or score piece?

I have The Hunchback Of Notre Dame OST on CD, and do so love to listen to it a lot lately as it's just brilliant
