What do you think of the story. Should they have been truer to the original?

I think it was a fantastic job on Disneys part. The animation was wonderful and the backgrounds were very beautiful. Even if it wasn't close to the original it's still a fantastic rendition of this classic.

I think the story was fine on how the Disney animators did it. I think if they went with the original story they would have to spend more money and the kids probaly wouldn't have enjoyed it as much........especially with the part about the skeletons behind the treehouse(those who read the book know what I mean and those who didn't might get it)--that wouldn't have worked for me. The same thing I say to movies like Hercules who didn't stick the original story at all...Disney had a very good reason for it. To keep it children-based

The storyline that Disney done for the movie version was superbly created and I do not think that they could've made it any more fantastic than it already was....Disney depicted the story exceptionally well

I agree. I can't think of anything I'd change about it. And there are many parts of the book I'm glad they left out...

You can tell that Disney poured their heart and soul into making this film
